The Gioeni Academy and the first years of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Catania

Abstract

In this note will be emphasized the role that both the Accademia Gioenia and its Bulletin had in the start-up of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Catania. In particular, it is remarked as more professors of the engineering faculty in the period 1971-1981 published in the Bulletin of Academy a lot of research results.
